Environment

Environment and climate issues are integrated into Rapp Bomek's business strategy model. We prioritize innovation and technology that can help improve the environment and climate footprint. We work purposefully to reduce emissions and waste, consumption of energy and activities that can improve the environmental and climate impact of our products. Our goal is to actively contribute to limit environmental and climate effects over time.

Environmentally friendly transport
Rapp Bomek's customers are located worldwide. We want to meet both local and global environmental requirements to preserve the environment, reduce traffic and pollution. Therefore, we have chosen suppliers of transport services that are environmentally certified.

Recycling of Fire and Security Doors

Our customers can now deliver discarded doors for recycling.
Rapp Bomek collaborates with Østbø on recycling.

Collection and Transport
Rapp Bomek, in cooperation with Østbø, organizes the collection and transport of discarded doors from the customer's location.

Disassembly and Sorting
Upon arrival, the doors are disassembled and sorted by material type, such as steel, insulation, and glass.

Material Recycling
The materials are sent to specialized recycling plants and are processed and reused in the production of new products.

Recycling a 300 kg fire door saves 330 kg of CO2 emissions.
