West white rose, Newfoundland Canada
The White Rose field and satellite extensions are located in the Jeanne d’Arc Basin, 350 km east of Newfoundland and Labrador in approximately 120 m of water. The West White Rose Project will access further resources to the west of the field. The first oil production is anticipated 2024 and is expected to reach a peak production of 75,000 barrels per day. Rapp Bomek delivered over 90 fire rated doors to the West White rose project. The delivery consists of both hinged and sliding doors – part of them equipped with pneumatic operation system. Rapp Bomek AS and Equinor entered into a frame agreement for the delivery of doors to Johan Castberg. Rapp Bomek AS was selected as a supplier by Equinor and entered into a framework agreement estimated to 27.2 million. The fire doors will be manufactured at Rapp Bomeks factory in Bodø. Historically, the global oil and gas market has been Rapp Bomek's core market, and with this contract, the company consolidates its position in this market. The Equinor field Johan Castberg is located 240 kilometers north of Hammerfest in the Barents Sea. Fire doors were delivered to a floating production vessel (FPSO) to operate on the field. Equinor ordered several products with heat tracer implemented on our fire doors and operating systems. These fire doors are specially designed for arctic environments. The first delivery of fire doors with heat traces was in 1995 to the oil field Hibernia outside St. John in Newfoundland, Canada.
Troll B, North Sea Norway
Troll B, isa floating process and accommodation platform with concrete hull. The thin oil layer is between 22 and 26 meters in the Troll West oil province and 11 and 13 meters in the Troll West gas province. In order to recover oil from the thin layer, it has been necessary to develop advanced drilling and production technology. Rapp Bomek delivered fire rated and hinged and sliding doors to the project. Skarv FPSO, Northsea Norwegian continental shelf
The Skarv field is located in the Norwegian Sea, approx. 210 km off the coast of Sandnessjøen, on 350-450 m water depth. The field came on stream in December 2012 and has an expected field life of 25 years. The Skarv field development includes a FPSO – floating production, storage and offloading vessel, anchored to the seabed. Rapp Bomek delivered 35 safety doors. The Mariner Field is located on the East Shetland Platform of the UK North Sea, approximately 150 kilometers east of the Shetland Isles. The Mariner oil field consists of two shallow reservoir sections – the deeper, Maureen Formation at 1492 meters and the shallower Heimdal reservoir at 1227 meters. Glen Lyon FPSO, UK West of the Shetland Islands
Located West of Shetland in the UK, the Quad 204 is an ambitious project to construct a new Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) unit to replace the existing Schiehallion FPSO. The new Glen Lyon FPSO measures 270 metres long by 52 metres wide. It will be able to process and export up to 130,000 barrels of oil a day and store up to 800,000 barrels. This will also include an extension of the existing subsea system with 15 new and replacement flow lines and 21 new and replacement risers. Rapp Bomek delivered 160 fire doors to the Glen Lyon FPSO. Melkøya Snøhvit, Norway Barents Sea
