The company is dedicated to sustainable growth and value long term profitability that correspond with proper environmental behaviour, social justice and corporate citizenship. To ensure sustainable growth the company must consider its performance and impacts on three key issues: environmental, social and governance issues (ESG issues).
The Ethics Code of Conduct
In its daily operations, Rapp Bomek shall integrate considerations targeted on good corporate governance, the environment and society at large. Rapp Bomek will comply with applicable laws and regulations and act in an ethical, sustainable and socially responsible manner. Respect for human rights and the environment is an integral part of the company's values base.
Rapp Bomek's ability to create value is dependent on applying high ethical standards as the basis for a trust-based and binding relationship with the community and owners, employees, partners, customers and suppliers. Rapp Bomek will maintain an open dialogue on ethical issues, internally and externally.
Combating corruption
Corruption includes bribery and trading in influence. Corruption undermines legitimate business activities, distorts competition, ruins reputations and exposes companies and individuals to risk. Bomek is against all forms of corruption and will make active efforts to ensure that it does not occur in our business activities.
Rapp Bomek may be held liable for bribery or any other corruptive acts by third parties contracted by Rapp Bomek or in other situations where Rapp Bomek may benefit from bribery or corruptive acts by third parties. Rapp Bomek has therefore implemented particular measures to mitigate such risks and will in all contractual relations commit third parties to adhere to the same rules and procedures as apply to Rapp Bomek in relation to bribery and corruption.
Rapp Bomek will conduct its business in such a way that suppliers, partners and customers can have trust in the company. Suppliers and partners are expected to adhere to ethical standards which are consistent with Rapp Bomek's ethical requirements.
Rapp Bomek expects that intermediaries act in accordance with its ethical requirements and this condition must be included in the intermediary's contract with Rapp Bomek. Intermediaries include agents, consultants and others who, in business activities, act as links between Rapp Bomek and a third party.
Whistle Blowing Policy
The aim for this policy is to set out guidelines for internal reporting of conditions of illegal or unethical character.
Rapp Bomek has as a policy where all employees are encouraged to freely speak their mind. This policy is important for the general working environment as well as for the job satisfaction on an individual level. In addition, this is a requirement for the business to be run in the best way possible. Conditions of illegal or unethical character can be damaging for the working environment, the individual and the business. Therefore, it is important that such conditions are managed and dealt with in a proper way.
Employees who have reason to believe that there are illegal aspects of their operations, should report this. The same applies if the employee discovers violations of business ethics policies or general ethical standards.
