The National Museum
Rapp Bomek delivered more than 800 doors to the new National Museum in Oslo. The museum is built with the highest standards and constructed to last for 400 years. It has a significant amount of high value paintings and arts from different historical periods in Norway. The need for high security products with multi-performance qualities was essential. Rapp Bomek has delivered doors, gates, hatches and louvres from unclassified wooden doors to high security rated products with RC5 classification (EN-1627) in extraordinary sizes combined with Fire ratings in accordance with EN-XXX. It was put a lot of effort to have a door and surface finish matching the design and environment in the public areas. |
Statnett
Rapp Bomek won in December 2020 the tender for a Framework agreement with Statnett. Their installations is defined as critical infrastructure and regulated in the Security Act and "Kraftberedskapsloven" in Norway. The agreement has a tenor of 4 years with an option for 2 + 2 years and covers the need for high security products with security standards from RC3 to RC6 and fire rating up to EI2120. Statnett is a state-owned company responsible for the central electrical grid in Norway and for the transmission to other countries. The agreement covers advisory and project management, installation and service related to project deliveries of doors, gates, rolling gates, hatches and louvres to new and existing sites. |
Global Connect
Global Connect is one of the leading company on datacentre services in Scandinavia and has a need for physical barriers related to high sensitive data storage and processing. The need for ventilations and cooling for their data-rooms is essential and Rapp Bomek delivers louvres for these purposes and doors, rolling gates and gates for the outer shelter. Rapp Bomek and Global Connect entered into a 5 years framework contract with a 2 years option. |
Telenor
Telenor is a global telecommuting company and their facilities and sites in Norway are defined as critical infrastructure. Their sites are located all over the country and the need for physical security barriers is a part of the GRUS project. Rapp Bomek and Telenor has entered a framework agreement of for deliveries of doors, louvres and hatches with a tenor of 4 years and option of 2 + 2 years. |
The Munch Museum
The Munch museum is exhibiting the paintings of Edvard Munch. His work is worldwide known and the museum contains painting like "the Scream" and XXX and YYY. The need for security and fire barriers protecting this valuable and unique collection was essential. Rapp Bomek has delivered doors, gates and hatches with fire rating up to EI2120 and security ratings up to RC5 to the museum. |
