Rapp Bomek develops high-performance security doors, gates and barrier systems for environments where failure is not an option.
With decades of experience from high-risk and sensitive sites, our solutions are engineered to meet strict international standards and perform under extreme physical and operational conditions.
Hinged and Sliding Security Doors
We supply high-performance hinged and sliding security doors in all resistance classes from RC3 to RC6, with optional fire ratings up to EI₂120. Doors are available in carbon steel, galvanized steel or stainless steel(304 eller 316), and can be tailored to specific operational and architectural requirements.
All doors are tested and certified according to the latest regulations and the EN 14351 standard. They are delivered complete with locks, hardware and a wide range of mechanical and electronic locking options.
Our solutions are tested in accordance with NS-EN 1627 for break-in resistance and NS-EN 16034 for fire performance. We can also provide IMO-approved fire-rated doors combined with NS-EN 1627 burglary protection – an ideal solution for critical infrastructure including oil and gas facilities.
Security Gates, Lattices and Louvres
Rapp Bomek delivers robust security gates, lattices and louvres designed for demanding environments such as tunnels, hydropower facilities, water supply infrastructure, defence installations and data centers. Our gate solutions can be supplied with integrated pedestrian doors, overhead panels or side panels to meet specific functional and operational needs.
We also design specialized solutions for museums and public buildings where aesthetics are essential. These products can be delivered in carbon steel, galvanized steel or stainless steel, with optional stone or wood cladding, custom colours or brushed stainless steel(304 eller 316) finishes.

Security Windows
Break-in resistance, explosion and ballistic resistance.
Our windows are primarily developed to meet high security demand where combination of requirements as burglary, gunshots and explosions are necessary.
These products are particularly relevant for museums, public buildings with additional security needs, and military facilities. The windows are tested according to EN 1522 (shot), EN 13123-1 (explosion).
WIF1000 “PRESSIOTEC” MULTI THREAT WINDOW
Break-in resistance:
Available with burglary protection up to RC6, providing a high level of resistance against forced entry.
Explosion resistance:
Tested and engineered for blast protection up to EPR4, suitable for installations requiring enhanced structural resilience.
Ballistic resistance:
Offered with ballistic protection up to FB6, ensuring effective defence against high-powered firearms.
Other options:
Solutions can be delivered with fixed or hinged frames and customised to meet specific operational or architectural requirements.
Shelters and Bunkers
Rapp Bomek develops protective solutions for shelters and bunkers designed and manufactured in Norway to meet national and international safety requirements. This is an emerging segment for us, where we apply our long experience in safety and security engineering to create reliable barriers for environments that demand high protection.
Using modern production technology and strict quality control, we ensure high precision, durability and consistent performance in every component. All solutions are tested and verified to meet defined technical and safety standards.
Protective constructions require accuracy — doors, hatches and lattices must withstand pressure, blast, gas and fire. We work closely with customers to adapt our solutions to their specific needs, from early design considerations to final delivery, ensuring functional and dependable protection.
A few previous projects
Telenor
Telenor is a global telecommuting company and their facilities and sites in Norway are defined as critical infrastructure. Their sites are located all over the country and the need for physical security barriers is a part of the GRUS project. Rapp Bomek and Telenor has entered a framework agreement of for deliveries of doors, louvres and hatches with a tenor of 4 years and option of 2 + 2 years.
The Munch Museum
The Munch museum is exhibiting the paintings of Edvard Munch. His work is worldwide known and the museum contains painting like "the Scream" . The need for security and fire barriers protecting this valuable and unique collection was essential. Rapp Bomek has delivered doors, gates and hatches with fire rating up to EI₂120 and security ratings up to RC5 to the museum.
Global Connect
Global Connect is one of the leading company on datacentre services in Scandinavia and has a need for physical barriers related to high sensitive data storage and processing. The need for ventilations and cooling for their data-rooms is essential and Rapp Bomek delivers louvres for these purposes and doors, rolling gates and gates for the outer shelter. Rapp Bomek and Global Connect entered into a 5 years framework contract with a 2 years option.
