Røahjemmet, a nursing home in Oslo, was built based on a passive house concept which increases the energy efficiency of the building and reducing its ecological footprint.
The original building from 1978 was modernized and turned into an eco-friendly building. The building process started in 2015 with Hent AS as the entrepreneur. The first residents moved in in June 2017. Rapp Bomek has delivered 120 internal steel fire doors to the project and had the responsibility of installation.
