Rapp Bomek will supply 75 high-security doors and gates, as well as 100 lighter fire doors, to a new transformer station in Børdalen, Samnanger, and a compensator station in Fitjar. The facilities are unmanned and will house power supply equipment. The contract is valued at around 30 million NOK and is signed with Skanska Anlegg, which will handle the construction work.
"We are very pleased to secure such an important contract where the need for security is essential due to the purpose of the facilities," says Erik Forsaa, head of the Security division at Rapp Bomek. "Rapp Bomek provided the best offer in terms of products and installation based on the requirements, standards, and performance we need to deliver. They also contributed significantly during the preliminary work to find the right security solutions for the facilities," says Stian Pettersen, procurement manager at Skanska. Comments are closed.
