Rapp Bomek launches a new high-security door - we are at the forefront of development and proud to introduce our RC6 door, says CEO Kurt Kristoffersen.

After nearly two years of development, Rapp Bomek has now completed and passed tests for burglary and fire resistance for the RC6 high-security door. They are now launching the new RC6 with EI2120 fire performance.

Security class RC6 is the highest classification in European and Norwegian standards for doors. It has undergone highly demanding test environments and methods for the period.

- The door is designed to protect objects of extra central importance within defense facilities, critical infrastructure, and public administration. Our extensive experience and skilled development environment in security and fire products have been crucial for the success of the project, says CEO Kurt Kristoffersen.

"It's always exciting when new products go into the testing laboratories. Even though you try to anticipate everything, there are usually surprises. The RC6 door performed well for over 120 minutes in the fire test, which allows us to scale this up to very large sizes," Eivind adds.

​This is just the continuation of our focus on security that Rapp has been heavily involved in. We look forward to expanding the product line with even more advanced features, including blast protection, bullet resistance, and EMS security.
