Rapp Bomek has signed a contract and delivered high-security gates, doors, and hatches to one of SKS Production's power plants in Sundsfjord. These are specially adapted to secure the facility and ensure easy access for mechanical equipment, ventilation, and efficient operational management in the tunnel environment. "There has been very solid advice from Rapp Bomek on solution possibilities in relation to our needs, and it is great to see the products being installed with experienced installation resources from the company", says Svenn Isaksen, Operations Manager at SKS. About Salten Kraftsamband
Salten Kraftsamband (SKS) is Northern Norway's leading power producer, generating approximately 2.2 TWh of hydropower from our 23 power stations in the region. This corresponds to the consumption of about 120,000 households. Salten Kraftsamband is owned by the municipalities of Bodø and Fauske, NTE Energi AS, Nordlandskraft AS, Bodø Pension Fund, Bodø Energi AS, and the Swedish company Jämtkraft AB. SKS is a competence enterprise in the energy sector with a total of 76 employees (2023). SKS has its headquarters in Fauske, in Inner Salten. The grid is a modular system designed for securing and sectioning off specific areas in existing buildings. It can be easily adapted to fit the existing structure and is easy to install. Additionally, the grid can be disassembled, expanded with new modules, and reassembled to meet changing needs. The system has been tested according to NS-EN 1627 and meets the requirements for RC4 security level.
“This product is particularly well-suited for data processing and data-storage facilities where there is a need for cabling and ventilation,” says Eivind Seljenes Pedersen, R&D Manager at Rapp Bomek. He finds the development project and the goal of achieving the right performance with easy installation to be an exciting project. |
